Every fall, the call for nominations for the Pushcart Prize arrives, and like every year, we’ve been thinking about who to nominate since well before 2023. It is not easy. This year, our nomination process was especially difficult as we had so MANY shining stars to choose from, but ultimately, we had to narrow it down to just six selections. Our nominees for the 2023 Pushcart Prize cycle are:
